Experimenting with paper to create a lamp that utilises it as the main material.
Kōsaten is a paper lamp that measures a total of 15x20cm.

The lamp features five strips of mulberry shade paper on each surface, with strips measuring 1 cm, 2 cm, or 3 cm arranged to create a sense of irregularity.

This pattern allows the light to reveal subtle variations in intensity and shade. The paper strips are glued onto a cardboard mold, and once dry, the finished shade is fitted onto the wooden frame.
